I decided to make a record to remember the books that I’ve read. As I read too much novels, I also forget a lot. and as an artist, I feel a bit guilty that I forget someone’s painstaking work.
Hope that I could also leave some comments about them…hopefully.
1) 지도와 영토_미셸 우엘벡 : overally good. recommendation
2) 658, 우연히_존 버든 : 기대보다 별로.
3) 1Q84 1, 2, 3: finished!!
4) 동화처럼_김경욱 : sorry that I can’t remember a thing about this book.
5) 얼음의 책_한유주 : she is absolutely unique and intriguing.
6) 힌트는 도련님_백가흠 : hm….
7) 종이여자_기욤 뮈소 : too light
8) 빅 픽쳐_더글러스 케네디 : lower than my expectation
9) 당신도 나도 아닌_카미유 로랑스 : shit. I can’t remember
10) 나를 보내지 마_가즈오 아시구로 : sad but beautiful
11) 해변의 카프카 _ 무라카미 하루키 : so very Haruki
12) 찌꺼기_톰 매카시 : cool
13) 웃음_베르나르 베르베르 : sorry but this is boring that I cannot finish two volumes.
14) 채홍_김별아 : fun to read but I cannot immerse myself in the story.
15) 데이지의 인생_요시모토 바나나 : I just like Banana.
16) 동물원에 가기_알랭 드 보통 : soso
17) 완전한 죽음_기욤 뮈소 :soso
18) 누가 큐피드의 동생을 쏘았는가_데이비드 헌트 : not bad
19) 숨그네_헤르타 뮐러 : good
20) 한눈팔기_나쓰메 소세키 : good
21) 너무나 많은 시작_존 맥그리거 : sophisticated

28) 낯익은 타인들의 도시_최인호 : I don’t like this. I think he is too biased.

31) 7년의 밤 : her story is exceptionally full of pace and tension. totally enjoyed.
32) Let the Right One In _ 욘 아이비데 린드크비스트 : totally good. different type of vampire story. totally into it. so beautiful and sad. recommendable.
33) 태엽감는 새 1,2,3,4 _ 무라카미 하루키 : For the record, I am not a fan of Haruki.
34) 죽음의 미로_필립 K 딕 : not impressive at all.
